Dr. Ashraf Sedhom

Dr. Ashraf Sedhom is a highly respected oral and maxillofacial surgeon based in Denver. After completing his anesthesia residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, he went on to complete his oral surgery fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Sedhom then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Martin Luther King, Jr. / Drew Medical Center and received his MD from the Medical College of Virginia in 2000. He also completed his general surgery internship at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Recognitions

Dr. Sedhom has founded three successful practices and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the “Anesthesia Award of the Year” from the Medical College of Virginia and “Resident of the Year” from Martin Luther King Hospital. He was recently featured in 5280 Magazine as one of the top oral surgeons in Colorado.

Dr. Elbert Choi

Dr. Elbert Choi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. While there, Dr. Choi was awarded the Silver Award for Academic Excellence, and 1st place honors in Laboratory research at the Alumni Association Table Clinic. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Choi interned at Harlem Hospital Center, in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Following his intern year, Dr. Choi went on to receive his advanced training Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Hospital. While there, Dr. Choi received several awards and honors, including: OMSITE Award for achieving the highest score on the OMFS resident aptitude test; Academic Pursuits Award for distinguishment in research; and Cum Laude Award from the Radiological Society of North America. While at Howard University Hospital, Dr. Choi’s experience included training at several affiliated hospitals, including: Georgetown University Hospital; Posnick Center for Facial Plastic Surgery; Children’s National Medical Center; Anne Arundel Medical Center; Veteran Administration Medical Center; Winchester Medical Center; and Washington Hospital Center. During his training, Dr. Choi had the honor of training under Dr. Jeffrey C. Posnick, DMD, MD, FACS, Professor Emeritus of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Pediatrics, Georgetown University School of Medicine; with whom he co-authored several papers published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Outside of oral surgery, Dr. Choi’s passions include hiking, fine arts, classical history, and cooking breakfast for his wife and daughter on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Dr. Matt Steuer "Dr. Matt"

Dr. Steuer brings his knowledge of Botox management in different aspects of myofascial pain and TMJ disorders as well as noninvasive cosmetic procedures in addition to complex dental alveolar surgery. He earned his bachelor's degree in Portuguese from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and studied at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. In 2009, Dr. Steuer obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree. And in 2013, he furthered his training by completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston University Medical Center. In his free time Dr. Steuer enjoys time with his children, outdoor activities and traveling.
